The University is currently seeking a Coordinator, Research Programs/Services. This A&P position is located in our Research-Florida Solar Energy Center, Cocoa, FL. This position administers and coordinates the routine business functions relating to contract and grants at the Florida Solar Energy Center ( FSEC ). Prepares cost and administrative sections of research proposals; provides detailed financial oversight of contract and grant projects; prepares contracts and grants for financial close-out; reviews and approves vendor invoices, purchase requisitions and PCard purchases; and assists with other administrative functions related to contracts and grants, aux operations and FSEC E&G funding. Position responsibilities Position #: 42292 Open Date: 02/03/2012 Closing Date: 02/09/2012 Salary: $42,715.00 - Negotiable Min Requirements: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 2 years of appropriate background.


Main responsibilities Chemist and / or Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for analysis and reporting of various products such as crude oil, fuel oils, middle distillates, petroleum and petrochemicals, LPG & LNG gases, etc. Reporting to -il, Gas & Chemicals (OGC) Services, is a division of SGS, is the market leader in independent inspection, testing, verification and specialized technical services to the Oil, Gas and Chemical industries. Specific responsibilities - Responsible for all Laboratory analysis (hands-on working on the Bench). - Understand and keep current with all Laboratory safety and reporting techniques. - Chemist will assist Laboratory Technicians in training. - Complete all Laboratory reports, as applicable. - Understand and keep current with all Laboratory analysis methods.


Track and provide status reports of routine and ad hoc tasking from both within and without DTT-2 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Knowledge and background in the application and adaptation of Commercial-Off- the-Shelf (COTS) products to meet government system qualifications - Expertise to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Works well - Expertise to present relevant factors (both verbal and written) so that technical details is understood by non-technical end users - Good people skills - Effective communicator - Expertise to interpret and communicate the results of scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and contract documents - Expertise to manage time and resources - Knowledge of standard DoD acquisition regulations, practices and procedures is desired. Education: Required:


- Expertise to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. - Should have good people skills and be an effective communicator. Education: - Knowledge of standard DoD acquisition regulations, practices and procedures is desired. - Knowledge and background in the application and adaptation of Commercial-Off- the-Shelf (COTS) products to meet government system qualifications.. - Respond to inquiries from customers, management, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Required: Graduate degree in Physics, Chemistry or related position with a min of 6yrs background as a scientist or engineer with four years specialized background in the areas described above. Desired:PhD preferred directly related to the physics/chemistry field. Min 6 yrs background as a scientist or engineer with four years specialized background in the areas described above. OR 10 yrs background Special Qualifications:


Job overview: Provide scientific, engineering, and technical assistance (SETA) to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Directorate for Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT) and Technical Collection (DT), Office for Science and Technology (DTT), Applied Research and Development Division (DTT-2). SETA will be provided on-site at Patrick AFB Florida. This job requires thorough understanding of the scientific principles involved for the forensics of Explosives and Chemical Agents and their precursors, by-products and degradation products. The theoretical principles underpinning these processes must be understood. The individual must have background in Analytical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry. Essential Job Functions: - Frequent contact with government, industry, and academic groups representing DTT-2 interests, requiring outstanding communication and people skills


Position summary: Provide scientific, engineering, and technical assistance (SETA) to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Directorate for Measurement and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT) and Technical Collection (DT), Office for Science and Technology (DTT), Applied Research and Development Division (DTT-2). SETA will be provided on-site to DTT-2 locations at Patrick AFB Florida and Tampa Florida and possibly other locations. The contractor must possess a thorough understanding of the scientific principles/theories involved in the radiological/nuclear materials area. This task requires a thorough understanding of the scientific principles for quantitative detection and identification of nuclear materials and processes with emphasis on analytical nuclear detection/identification technology. Essential Job Functions:

SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM PROFESSIONAL AT THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY JAIL. Dynamic professional needed to implement Substance Abuse Program. Applicant will provide substance abuse/mental health instruction and case management. Prefer CAP with Masters from an accredited college or university plus 3 yrs exp. in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Preference given to previous clinical jail background.
