Our client has an opening for a Field Test Manager in its Grain Valley, MO, Warrensburg, MO, Jacksonville, FL or Melbourne, FL locations. The Field Test Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the Field Test team. In this role you will utilize your background and ability to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and the team reporting to you, and have the ability to effect short term and longterm business goals. You will lead a team of ten engineers with several Lead Test Engineers for the different projects testing all signaling solutions for the project’s group including integrated testing of overall systems, as well as subsystems such as wayside signaling, onboard systems, etc., preliminary in field testing of testing of hardware and software parts. The successful applicant will have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action while maintaining responsibility of short term as well as strategic planning.


Program Management Director Location: Melbourne, FL or Rochester, NY Role Summary/Purpose The Program Management Director leads a team of Program Managers responsible for managing development programs associated with Company's Freight, Mining and North American Transit solutions. He/she is responsible for leading our Program Management team to ensure developments occur according to functional requirements, budgeted cost, and defined schedule. This role will be the primary point of coordination between our Design Centers in Melbourne, FL and Rochester, NY and our regional project organizations, principally North America. Required responsibilities Lead weekly communication/synchronization with regional project teams to ensure continuous alignment between product development and project schedules Manage conflicts/facilitate trade-offs within and across programs when they arise to ensure critical project commitments are kept Ensure program requirements well understood and baselined and that variations

Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
