We are looking for an agile Accounting Manager with solid general and technical accounting background. He or she will be a hands on accounting leader. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain the integrity and reliability of the general ledger through month end closings and reconciliation. Asset Management, reconciliation and record keeping ensuring proper recording of all assets capitalized or expensed. Perform daily accounts receivable, accounts payable, and banking functions Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial details Responsible for the supervision of staff, including meetings and coaching This position will also be responsible for maintaining efficient internal controls, adherence to accounting policies and other company policies and procedures. Responsible for accounting records; receipts, investments purchasing inventory assets, expenditures etc.

To maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts and monthly account reconciliations Process monthly general journal entries and closing of books, including preliminary financial statements Prepare monthly reporting packages and analysis for the Board of Directors Provide leadership and coordination during the annual budgeting process Documentation of internal controls, recommend enhanced controls and ensure company-wide compliance Maintain accounting procedure documentation and ensure that all functions have a primary and back-up assigned Calculation of sales commissions and related monthly sales reporting Supervision of accounts payable, credit/collections and cost accounting functions Prepare and maintain a weekly rolling cash forecasts and monthly operational forecasts Coordinate year-end financial statement audit or review with outside auditors Coordinate and support lender


Job details Administration Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Micros tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters’ charges, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier. Run audit reports and journals from all credit card and computer systems. Input revenue, expenses, and allowance to generate required daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary. Balance all revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day’s operations. Make corrections and adjustments and handle any computer issues that may arise. Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly. Ensure all necessary copies of documentation and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper department. Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
